Bottle conditioned beer is real ale in a bottle. It will still have yeast in the bottle which will make it cloudy if not poured carefully.
Some outlets known to regularly stock bottle conditioned beers are:
Supermarkets
- Tesco
- Sainsburys
- The Vintage, Antrim
- The Vinyard, Ormeau Road, Belfast
Specialist Off-Licences
- The Vintage, Antrim
- The Vinyard, Ormeau Road, Belfast
- Grape Expectations
20 The Square, Ballyclare- Gap Wines, Antrim Road, Belfast
- Off-Licence of the Year 2006
Watch out for the 'St Patrick's' range of bottle conditioned beers from the locally based Strangford Lough Brewing Company
If you know of others, please email the webmaster so that they can be included on this web site.
